Can I change my plan after I sign up?

Yes! TELUS mobile customers can generally change their rate plan once per billing cycle, typically every 30 days, to ensure billing stability. While you can change plans frequently to meet your needs, changing to a cheaper plan may be restricted if you are currently under a contract with a minimum plan requirement. 

  • Monthly Plans: Changes are limited to once per billing cycle.
  • Contractual Obligations: If you are on a contract, you can usually upgrade your plan, but downgrading may require paying off device balances first.
  • How to Change: Plan changes can be made through the MyTELUS app or online account.
