TELUS Price Lock protects customers from monthly rate plan price increases for five years on eligible plans. This protection applies to the base rate plan cost only (before taxes, discounts, promotions, and bill credits). It does not apply to pay‑per‑use services such as roaming, long‑distance, add‑ons, or other optional features.
EPP Customers
For TELUS EPP accounts, the Price Lock benefit applies exclusively to 5G+ Complete Explore plans.
How Price Lock Works
All TELUS customers can receive Price Lock by switching to or renewing an eligible plan. Each time a customer moves to an eligible plan, the five‑year protection period restarts.
However, switching to a non‑eligible plan removes the Price Lock and future pricing will no longer be protected.
Official Terms Summary
The Rate Plan Price Lock (“Lock”) applies to the monthly charge of eligible postpaid rate plans for five years, starting from the date your eligible plan is activated.
It excludes taxes, government fees, discounts, promotions, bill credits, and all add‑ons or pay‑per‑use charges (including services like Easy Roam®).
TELUS may remove the Price Lock if:
- You change your plan
- You renew on a non‑eligible plan
- You no longer meet the eligibility requirements
