Understanding Your iPhone Warranty and Repair Options

Every new iPhone comes with a limited one-year manufacturer’s warranty from Apple. This warranty covers only manufacturer’s defects, meaning issues that arise from the manufacturing process and not from physical or liquid damage. If you encounter any problems with your device, it's essential to know your options.

To explore the right repair options for your iPhone, you can visit https://telus.com/CheckWarranty or use the My TELUS app. These resources will help you determine your warranty status and the best course of action for repairs.

If you're looking for tips and tricks to optimize your device, consider downloading the Mobile Klinik Device Checkup app or the My TELUS app. These tools provide valuable insights to enhance your iPhone experience on the go.

Returns and Exchanges

If you recently purchased a new or Certified Pre-owned iPhone within the last 15 days and are not satisfied, you can return it to the original point of purchase for a full refund or exchange. However, please note that your first bill may be due if you exceed the trial limits set in your contract upon returning your iPhone. If your device is found to be defective, you can exchange it for a new iPhone at no additional charge. For more details, please visit our return policies page.

Warranty Repairs

For phones covered by AppleCare+ or under Apple’s limited warranty, you should visit an Apple location or an Apple Authorized Service Partner. Additional details about repair options can be found on Apple’s support website.

If your iPhone is within the second year of the warranty period and was purchased after November 18, 2025, it is covered by the one-year TELUS Warranty extension. In this case, you can visit a Mobile Klinik location or a TELUS store for immediate repair assistance. Please refrain from visiting Apple for repairs during this period.

Certified Pre-owned iPhones

If you have a Certified Pre-owned iPhone and require an in-warranty repair, simply visit a TELUS store. If your device is defective, it will be sent to a repair center for testing and certification, and you can expect it back within 10 calendar days. Repaired phones will either receive a 90-day repair warranty or continue with the existing limited warranty, whichever offers longer coverage.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

For out-of-warranty phones that are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and have physical or liquid damage, you can visit a Mobile Klinik location or a TELUS store for repair. Mobile Klinik offers fast, in-store repair services for most makes and models, often completed within one to two hours. They also provide an industry-leading lifetime parts and labor guarantee on all repairs.

If you prefer to submit your phone for an out-of-warranty repair at TELUS, you will need to authorize payment up to the maximum out-of-warranty limit for your iPhone. If repair is not feasible or desired, we can discuss alternate options, such as in-market renewal offers.

For any further assistance, please visit telus.com/CheckWarranty or use the My TELUS app to check your warranty coverage and repair options. We're here to help you get the most out of your iPhone!
