Migrating from TELUS Consumer Plan to Corporate Employee Plan
If you're an existing TELUS consumer plan customer and are interested in migrating to a corporate employee plan, there are specific guidelines you must follow to ensure a smooth transition. Here’s everything you need to know about the migration process.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Billing Information: To begin the migration, your TELUS account must be under the billing information of your employer. This means that the account should reflect the corporate details associated with your workplace.
2. Contract Completion: All cellular lines on your account must have either completed their contract term or have had their remaining device subsidy balance paid off. This is crucial as TELUS requires that no outstanding obligations remain on your account before proceeding with the migration.
3. Recent Activations or Upgrades: If you have recently activated or upgraded your device on a regular consumer plan, you will need to wait until the hardware is fully paid off. This ensures that all financial commitments are settled before you can switch to the corporate plan.
4. Device Subsidy Balance: If you haven’t completed your current term, you do have the option to fully pay off your device subsidy balance. This allows you to clear any remaining fees and become eligible for the migration.
