Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Device Warranty Information


At TELUS, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality devices and exceptional service. When you purchase a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) device from us, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that it comes with a Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty of one year. This warranty ensures that your device is free from defects in materials and workmanship, allowing you to use your phone confidently.


For those who purchase CPO phones on or after October 24, 2025, there is an exciting opportunity for extended coverage. These devices may qualify for a Limited Lifetime Warranty following the initial one-year warranty period. To be eligible for this extended warranty, the CPO phone must have been purchased directly from TELUS or Koodo and must be linked to an active TELUS or Koodo mobility plan. This means that as long as you maintain an active plan, your warranty coverage remains intact.


It’s important to note that this warranty is limited to defects in hardware components. It does not cover software issues, accessories, or peripheral equipment. Additionally, any damage caused by liquid exposure or physical impacts—such as cracks or scratches on the LCD screen or camera lens—is not included in the warranty coverage.
