Hardware Upgrades for Existing TELUS EPP Clients
Thank you for reaching out! We’re excited to help you upgrade to a new phone while keeping your existing phone number. Here’s everything you need to know about the hardware upgrade process for existing TELUS EPP clients.
Upgrade Eligibility
If you have less than one month remaining on your current contract, you can upgrade to a new device at no additional cost. This is a great opportunity to get the latest technology without worrying about extra fees!
For those with more than one month left on their contract, you can still upgrade your device. However, you will need to pay off the remaining device subsidy balance from your old phone. Once that’s settled, you can start a new 2-year contract immediately.
Ordering Your Upgrade
To initiate your hardware upgrade, simply select the "upgrade" option next to the new phone you wish to order. If your old contract hasn’t expired, TELUS may assess an Early Device Balance repayment fee. One of our representatives will contact you with the exact amount before processing your order, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
New 2-Year Plan
When you order a hardware upgrade, you will be selecting from our new 2-year plan series. Please note that this new plan will replace all previous features of your existing TELUS plan, so be sure to review the new offerings to ensure they meet your needs.
Bring It Back and Trade-In Programs
If your current phone is part of TELUS' Bring It Back program, and you wish to return it in good working condition, we’re here to assist you. We will reach out to you to complete a device assessment and initiate the return process.
Alternatively, if you prefer to trade in your existing device through TELUS' trade-in program for a bill credit, we can help with that too! Our team will guide you through the device assessment to get started.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with your upgrade, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer support team. We’re here to help you every step of the way!
